Event Recap: Patchwork Show

Patchwork Show was officially my third event with the Airstream in tow. I finally got the hang of towing a huge trailer behind a truck! Whoohoo! You wouldn't believe the stress I went through trying to learn how to tow a 19ft trailer. Also, finally having an efficient routine for pre/post event set-up has been a huge relief & great learning experience to make the next one even better.

Anyways, being a one-woman-show means it takes me quite sometime to set everything up for Blossom to open. From unloading, unpacking, display, etc., I'm like a wind-up toy frantically running around until I lose my steam. So, when I arrived to Patchwork winded up & ready to go, I was surprisingly greeted by two awesome volunteers, Hector & Vienna, who were more than happy to assist in anything I needed! Vienna even hung all the clothing on the racks for me!! I have yet to participate in an event where the folks were as helpful & friendly as they were at Patchwork. From the get go, Patchwork was professional & organized with a helpful & welcoming atmosphere. We (staff & vendors) were all in this together to make this show amazing and I definitely felt the community love.

Patchwork Show is a bi-annual modern, handmade festival showcasing local artists, designers, & makers. It is ran by two amazing ladies, Nicole & Delilah. 

Thank you to everyone who stop by, whether it was to grab some donut holes or hang out on the sofa, meeting all the peeps at the show was the highlight of the event. Long Beach has been my home for the past 6 months & the birthplace of Blossom. 
I'm so blessed to have the opportunity to g r o w where Blossom is p l a n t e d. 

Shout out to Robin from Living Long Beach, Prism Boutique, Urban Cottage, YarnOver Truck, The Library Truck, & all the beautiful ladies & gentlemen who came to love on Blossom.
