Shop Progress: On the Hunt

For the past few months I have been on the hunt for a home for Blossom. A mobile home, that is.

When I was presented with the genius idea (by one of my best friends) to start a mobile vintage boutique, I had finally found the missing link to all of my vintage-shop-owning dreams. I cant thank her and my other supporters enough for always encouraging me to follow my dreams.

After the planting of this incredible idea, all I thought about was my (future) mobile boutique. What its going to look like, how Im going to decorate it, what color it will be painted... I couldn't stop daydreaming about all the ways I will be making it the most unique & beautiful vintage shop anyone has ever seen.

After looking through countless of ads, I found one that was in my price range and more importantly that needed much TLC. Luckily, it was close enough for me to check out the same day and so I drove off as soon as I could. I was so nervous on the drive there. Nervous in a good way. Here are some photos I took of the trailer:

It was the cutest little trailer and I immediately wanted to adopt it. Unfortunately, someone else swooped it up before I could confidently say "yes" so she was no longer available. Even though I didn't come home with this trailer, it was a huge learning experience in that even though I didn't confidently say 'yes' to the owner, I was confident in my actions and putting myself out there so that my dreams can be more tangible. It felt great.

A good friend told me to be patient in buying a trailer and to remember that I cannot compromise anything if I want Blossom to stand out. I need to invest in the best one to be the best and I couldn't agree with him more. I wont give up until I find the one!

Keep Blooming,
J.
