After the Ventura Flea Market, we had about 4 days to get to the next event in San Francisco. So, we took our sweet, sweet time getting there, cruising & camping down the beautiful coast. Like I mentioned before, time was a b s e n t. We parked ourselves at Veteran's Memorial Park, a quaint, cozy campground in Monterey, and ended up staying there for three days. Our fourth of July celebrations were spent here as well with Vietnam Vets right down the street and $10 BBQ plates & $2 beers. Asher decided to stay and chit chat with the wise men while I cruised down to Carmel to enjoy a nice hike at Point Lobos.
California, you are truly magical and utterly breathtaking.
