2013 went by quicker than anticipated. By the end of December, I'm always left in awe by how far I've come and what the year had brought me. 2013 was the year of faith, tenacity, & the hustle. 2014 is the year of focus, refinement, & voyage.

Focus | 2013 was my first year as a business gal and the lessons that I've learned are monumental for 2014. I hope to maintain focus on what I foresee for this next year. This includes a highly anticipated, grand road trip in the Summer. I need to remind myself to stay focused on whats the come, no matter the destination.
Refinement | Through the trials & errors, 2014 is about polishing (literally & figuratively). I want to refine and cultivate my ideas for what is to come for Blossom. Focus on what has worked so far, but also challenge my ideas and take risks when new ones arise. Refinement takes much patience & trust, which have been the two prominent qualities I've learned to nurture throughout 2013.
Voyage | Since the beginning of this journey, the word voyage has been at the forefront for defining what Blossom represents to me. Adventure, journey, exploration... I can't help but to trust that God has planned this extraordinary voyage for me and there's no turning back. Each experience He provides is a closer understanding to the greater purpose of what I am capable of achieving. It has only been a year and I'm already left speechless to what He has provided and revealed.
2014 is the next season of this voyage and as I focus on refining my aspirations for Blossom, all I hope for in 2014 are for more beautiful adventures & opportunities to continue to blossom. Happy New Year and I hope for the same for all of you.
Keep Blooming,
J.

ReplyDeleteThat was a very beautiful poem about nature especially about the everlasting power Sun. The title “Sun flakes” itself felt apt for the poem. I had a great time reading the poem. Thanks a lot for such a nice post. Please keep sharing

Most of the time I don’t make comments on websites, but I'd like to say that this article really forced me to do so.
